The holy month of Ramadan is going on. We are going through a terrible period, but we are supposed to be fasting without any hindrance. Because of Corona virus the whole world having a hard time. While the developed countries are struggling to cope with this stalemate, the plight of the working people of Bangladesh is unimaginable.
Recently, due to the lockdown situation, there is a impasse in the whole country. As a result, due to lack of work, day laborers and uprooted people are having to spend their days with their families. Some people are risking their lives to get out of the house as they cannot bear to look at the hungry faces of their loved ones. Although they do not know if they can put a smile on the face of the family or not.
The Lighter Youth Foundation has stood by the distressed people of the country in natural and humanitarian disasters at different times. In this difficult time of Corona virus, we want to come to the door of some needy people of the country with Iftar items.
Every time you have stood by the endangered people by extending your hand of cooperation in various disasters. Are you coming forward to hand over the Iftar items to the low-income people of your country during this global catastrophe?
We want to conduct these support activities in different parts of the country. The more you extend a helping hand, the more Iftar items we can deliver to the hard-working people who can’t afford food now.
Everything we want to distribute per family in the ration package is:
- Rice – 4 kg
- Pulse – 1 kg
- Oil – 1 liter
- Onion – 1 kg
- Chula-1kg
- Puffed rice – 1 kg
- Mini soap – 2 pieces
